Kim’s Story:

On June 25, 2024, Kim was diagnosed with mesothelioma. This is a cancer whose only known cause is asbestos exposure. It is a very rare diagnosis due to her age and because asbestos has been banned for many years.

Because mesothelioma is so rare, Kim’s medical team recommended she receive treatment and care at a larger center with physicians who specialize in this diagnosis. Kim will travel to MD Anderson in Houston beginning July 29th.

Kim requests your prayers. Please pray for continued peace for Kim and her family. Pray for her care team, that they will know the most cutting-edge, innovative treatments for Kim. Pray for healing so that she can be a testament to others on this journey.
