Thank you for supporting Kim's battle

In August, the wonderful, vivacious, wild, and loving momma Kim was diagnosed with Extensive Stage Small Cell Lung Cancer. Despite undergoing chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and radiation, the cancer has now metastasized to her brain, causing neurological complications and cognitive decline.

On February 11, 2025, she experienced a medical event that led to a car accident on I-5. She is currently in the ICU, adding another layer of hardship for her and her family during an already incredibly difficult time. Her doctors have advised that hospice and end-of-life care are the next steps.

Kim has a strong support system and daughters(Marti and Sausha) who have missed work to be where they need to in supporting their mother. They have done everything possible to support her, but the financial burden is growing.

Any donations will go toward Kim’s medical care at this difficult stage, as well as essential expenses and bills. These funds will help ease the immense pressure on Sausha as well, who shares a household with Kim and has been balancing caregiving and financial responsibilities while trying to stay strong for her family. To make things harder, Sausha already exhausted her PLO through the state when caring for momma Kim the first 3 months of her illness.

Any contribution, no matter the amount, will make a meaningful difference in ensuring Kim receives the care she needs at the most difficult time while allowing her family to focus on being together. The family’s support system will continue to stand by them, helping with small comforts and necessities ensuring they have the support they need during this difficult time.
