Dear friends, family, and community,

As one of Kimmy’s best friends, I’m reaching out to share an important update about our incredible friend, Kimmy. As most know, since March 2025, our community has rallied behind Kim, inspired by her incredible strength through five grueling surgeries to address what was initially believed to be a brain aneurysm. Her resilience and spirit have touched us all. However, recently, we received heartbreaking news: what was thought to be an aneurysm has been diagnosed as brain cancer. This news has been heartbreaking, but if you know Kimmy, you know she’s the definition of feisty—a fierce, determined, and unstoppable force. Beyond her fiery spirit, she’s also one of the most loving people you’ll ever meet, with a heart so big it warms everyone around her. Kimmy is ready to take on this battle with all she’s got, and we know she’s going to fight with everything in her.

Our community adores Kimmy—she’s touched so many lives with her kindness, infectious laughter, bright smile and unwavering support. As she and her family face a challenging road ahead filled with countless appointments, chemotherapy, and radiation, we want to rally around her to ease any stress and financial burdens. Kimmy’s loving boyfriend, Jeff, will also be taking a leave from work to help care for her during this difficult time. That’s why we’ve started this GoFundMe campaign. Our hope is to raise funds so Kimmy and Jeff can focus entirely on her fight without the added worry of expenses while they are both on leaves from work.
