Support Kimlyn in Her Time of Need: Help Cover $13,000 in Vet Bills
Kimlyn, a retired animal control officer from Ledyard, CT, has dedicated much of her life to helping animals in need. She’s been a kind and reliable resource for our community, stepping in to care for countless pets, and always putting others first. Now, it’s our turn to support her.
Recently, Kimlyn faced a heartbreaking situation when her beloved French Bulldog developed severe respiratory issues and had to be euthanized. As if this loss wasn’t enough, her Golden Retriever then broke its leg, adding even more stress and expense. With the total medical bills for both pets reaching $13,000, we’re asking for your help to ease the financial burden.
Kimlyn has always been there for our pets; now let’s show up for her. Any donation, large or small, will go directly toward covering her veterinary expenses and ensuring her Golden Retriever gets the care it needs. Together, we can make a difference and show Kimlyn just how much she means to all of us.
Please consider contributing today and share this with others who may want to help. Thank you for your generosity!
A few words from kimlyn about Finn!!
Finn is a special need rescue. We adopted him at 11 months due to the fact he couldnt be sold. He has a way of bunny hopping with his back legs. He was outside in a kennel and when we heard his story we just had to rescued him. He was just walking down the hill when he tripped and fractured his front leg. It is bad and they have discovered they may have found a tumor in the same leg. We are devastated. If this fundraiser raises enough to help us we will turn around and create a fund with VCA and Ocean State to help other pet parents in crisis just like I did with Autumns Fund while I was LACO. That fund helped so many animals and residents in need. Thank you to all who have donated. Its a rough time for all and we truly appreciate the help. John was laid off for 5 months so we were just getting back on our feet .
