We are Kimiko and Marley, a loving couple on a heartfelt journey to start our family. Marley is a transgender man who will be carrying our baby. After discovering that Marley's fallopian tubes are blocked, making intrauterine insemination (IUI) impossible, we were left with only one option: In Vitro Fertilization (IVF).

Why We Need Your Help:

IVF is our best hope to become parents to our new bundle of joy, but it comes with a significant financial burden. The total cost for a single round of IVF treatment, including medications and procedures, is $25,000. While our insurance will cover a percentage after we meet the deductible, we are left with an out-of-pocket expense of $18,000. We cannot cover this cost alone and need your support.

Update:

This morning, I started Estradiol and called to order the medications needed for my IVF cycle this month. Unfortunately, there was a mix-up with the quote, and the cost went from $1,500 to $5,000 because one of the medications wasn't listed. We are not prepared to pay that amount right now, so we have decided to push the cycle to next month to give us more time to gather the funds.

After hearing the news, I was devastated and cried for three hours. Thankfully, Kimiko grabbed my hands, and we prayed together, which brought me some peace. I then grabbed a bite to eat and began planning our next steps. We realized that YouTube videos are not convenient enough for our lifestyle, so we have decided to start vlogging on TikTok instead. Stay tuned for updates there! Also, we got confirmation, the sperm was delivered to our clinic today.
