Support Kimberly's Fight for Recovery

Kimberly, my girlfriend, has been facing a life-threatening medical crisis. She was diagnosed with a large tumor on her brain that doctors now believe started due to an infected tooth. Even after the tumor was removed, the infection spread, causing massive swelling and bleeding on her brain. It took days to control, resulting in damage that still remains to be seen. Kimberly remains in a sedated state as doctors work to lower her sedation levels, but her response remains uncertain. Part of her skull was removed to relieve the pressure, and while the centerline of her brain has begun to return, there is no guarantee of how far it will recover, leaving many questions about her future abilities. She is a fighter, and we are all praying non-stop as she is showing signs of recovery, but the extent of her recovery remains to be seen.

The financial burden of Kimberly's recovery will no doubt be overwhelming. I plan to care for her as much as I can and as much as is needed, which will make working a challenge. Coming home to an overwhelming pile of bills and commitments will be a stressful situation she shouldn't have to navigate.
