I was diagnosed with breast cancer on January 2nd, and my world changed overnight. I’ve always worked hard to provide for myself and my family, often juggling two jobs to make ends meet. Now, with chemotherapy and radiation ahead, I am immune compromised and unable to continue my second job. I’ve used up the small savings I had, and I’m finding it difficult to cover basic living expenses like food, rent, electricity, and gas, on top of mounting medical bills from surgery and treatments.
It’s not easy for me to ask for help. I’m usually the one volunteering and supporting others in their time of need. But right now, I find myself needing the kindness and support of my community more than ever. Every donation, no matter the size, will help lighten the burden and allow me to focus on healing and being there for my family during this challenging time.
My faith has been my anchor through all of this. I know God is guiding me and walking with me on this journey. Without God, I wouldn’t have gotten through my first rounds of chemo. At times, the pain was unbearable, and I truly believe that having God by my side is what gave me the strength to keep going.
If you’re unable to donate, simply sharing this fundraiser with others would mean so much to me. Your support, encouragement, and kindness truly mean more than words can express. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for taking the time to read my story and for being part of this journey with me. God bless you!
