.My name is Kimberly Scott, and I am currently raising financial support for a long-term mission trip with Youth With A Mission (YWAM). Over the past several months, I have felt a clear calling from the Lord to step into missions. After much prayer and reflection, I am choosing to respond in faith and obedience by saying yes to His call to bring the Gospel to the nations.

I will be participating in YWAM’s Discipleship Training School (DTS), a program designed to deepen faith, strengthen spiritual foundations, and equip believers for hands-on missionary work. Through this experience, I hope to grow closer to God while actively serving Him and others.

During this time, I will join a group of fellow students for both classroom learning and international outreach. DTS is unique in that it doesn’t just teach about missions—it sends you out to live as a missionary. I will spend the first half of this trip at YWAM’s University of the Nations for the lecture phase which involves classroom learning and working directly with communities and sharing the love of Christ before being sent out for the second half on outreach to the nations.

Missions are deeply personal to me. My mother came to know Christ and continues to grow in her faith today because of the work of missionaries in her home country. Seeing the lasting impact of their obedience inspires me, and I feel incredibly honored and humbled that God is now calling me to walk a similar path.

One of the most challenging parts of this journey is raising support, but I trust fully in God’s provision—just as He has faithfully provided for my mother throughout her life. To make this trip possible, I need to raise $10,000, which will cover tuition, housing, food, and travel expenses.
