Recently, our community came together to show love and support for Kimberly Saunders and her mother, affectionately known as Grammy. Grammy was a well-known and beloved figure in our city, and Kimberly, her daughter, has spent years as a special teacher, helping youth grow and thrive. When Grammy was in the hospital, the community rallied around her, and she was given the opportunity to have her nails done in her hospital bed—a small gesture that brought joy and comfort during a difficult time.

Kimberly lives modestly, dedicating her life to teaching and caring for others. She spent weeks by Grammy’s side, providing care and holding on with faith and love until Grammy’s passing. The family has always been positive and supportive, making a lasting impact on our community and on me personally as a young man.
