Hello, my name is Kimberlee Okwudibonye.
I'd like to share a little bit about myself. For the last two months, I have resided in a rehabilitation center because of a fall that had occurred prior, and because of living on the top floor, doctors did not feel it was safe for me to return home just yet. I also had to put my chemotherapy treatments on pause until I returned home because of insurance rules.
I have been in and out of the hospital for the last year and have struggled to keep up with bills, yet I have never allowed any of the tribulations to dampen my faith or spirit. I've remained steadfast and resilient through dealing with the difficulties of life. God has been my anchor.
I have found myself needing help, and often, the least to ask. I haven't been able to work and live off a small income, thus reaching out to my community for help to ensure everything is taken care of so that I can resume my chemo treatment with peace of mind and focus on healing.
I'm preparing to return home as, through physical therapy, I am stronger and have worked tirelessly to ensure falls are less likely to occur again.
Whatever is laid upon your heart to give, I thank you in advance, and may God bless you more.
