The Kimbadu Library and Discovery Center is a hub of excitement Monday through Saturday in Kono, Sierra Leone (West Africa).

KLDC is a Community Based Organization and has been funded in the past ten years by churches, private donors (myself) and now need needs help to secure this year’s expenses (September 2025 to 2026). Our monthly budget is roughly 200 US dollars (or 4,810 NLeons) and this is how we like it--sustainable. We would love your support with any donation, or a specific support for let's say “October’s Interns (4) Stipends -$123” or “Internet for one year-$528” or “the electrical bill for a month $10” .

We do have a WISH LIST that will soon be accessible on our website (being designed as I am writing this by our Technical Room Intern, Adams). Which comprises of more computers, a new printer, a globe, puzzles and games, an outdoor sitting and rec. area or a solar system to name a few.
