Hello friends and family of Kimberly and Mark Pate. As most of you may already know, Kim was admitted to the hospital. We have now found out she does have a right frontal lobe tumor that is going to require brain surgery this upcoming week. Due to scheduling and care, we are currently working on getting her transferred to Sanford Hospital so we can make sure she has 24-hour care as Mark will have to continue to work to be able to provide. This is going to be an extreme financial burden as this was most definitely unexpected, as Kim was perfectly fine a few days ago and nothing would have ever suggested this. Kim is going to require surgery, therapy, rehab, and whatever other unforeseen obstacles we are not yet aware of. Mark will be traveling back and forth from Polk City to Sanford as frequently as possible to be with her, while I, her sister Kelly, will be caring for her daily. We know not everyone may be able to donate, but also prayers and love go a long way as well. Let’s do all we can for Kim!! All funds will be used for Kim’s medical expenses and care.
