My name is Alexus Murfin and this GoFundMe is for my father, Kim Murfin. On March 8th, my mom (Sheila Murfin) passed away, which incited a stroke in dad two days later. Dad does not have a lot of independence right now and he certainly cannot work - he is currently at a Life Care Center for Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and Speech Therapy. This GoFundMe is specifically to help alleviate the financial burden medical emergencies like this cost, in tandem with maintaining dad's regular bills like his cell phone, his storage unit, etc.

My dad, Kim Murfin, has touched a lot of lives throughout his time as a live concert sound engineer (SoundLab Audio, LLC) and if you are able to donate, it is much appreciated.
