With a heavy heart, I come asking for help for my friend to lay her spouse to rest and help cover expenses incurred during his long illness.

Russell “Rusty” Spronk passed this life on Thursday, March 27, 2025, after a long battle with cardiac issues and other health complications.

Those who knew Rusty knew he was always goofy, ready with a funny dad joke, and always willing to help a friend in need.

Well, now his better half, my dear friend Kim, is in need of help. This is a difficult time, and as she isn’t on social media, she has asked for my help to fill that need. At this time, we are unsure how she will afford a service, let alone cremation or burial.

I am asking for any help you can give, even just a share to spread the word.

For me, Rusty was like the grandfather my daughter didn’t have. We were lucky enough to have him for the time we did, and I hope I can help even in some small way.
