Hi everyone,

We are reaching out on behalf of our co-worker and dear friend, Kim Losier, who is currently facing one of the toughest battles of her life—cancer.

Kim was recently diagnosed with breast cancer and will be off work for an undetermined amount of time as she focuses on treatment and recovery. Many of you in the Dominion area will recognize Kim from the Dominion Credit Union, or from her involvement campaigning for the NDP during the last election. She has always been an active, caring presence in the community.

Kim is also a devoted mother to her teenage son, whom she absolutely adores. He is set to graduate high school this June—an important milestone that Kim is determined to be there for, even as she navigates this difficult journey.

Anyone who knows Kim knows that she is always the first person to step up and help others in their time of need. Now, it’s our turn to come together and support her.

As Kim begins this difficult journey through treatment, the reality of being away from work combined with medical expenses and everyday living costs can quickly become overwhelming. The last thing she should have to worry about right now is how to keep up with bills while fighting for her health. We are asking for your support in any way you can. Whether it’s a donation, sharing this page, a phone call, or a visit. Every act of kindness helps lift some of the weight from her shoulders and reminds her that she’s not facing this alone, allowing her to focus on what truly matters, her healing and her family.
