My name is Nick Mays, and I’m starting this GoFundMe on behalf of my mom, Kim Holland. 

Recently, my mom went through chemo for lung cancer and now has broken her hip. She has had MS for over 30 years and was weak before. She had surgery on her hip 2 weeks ago and is in a rehab facility currently trying to regain her strength. Since she is not able to walk right now, she needs more time at the rehab facility, probably around 3 months, to get back her strength. Once her 20 days are up, the rehab facility will take her whole disability check except for $50.00. She is worried about being able to pay her bills over the next 3 months. This has put a huge emotional and financial strain on her. I am trying to make it where she is focused on getting better and not have to worry about that. Despite everything she’s going through, she continues to stay hopeful and fight through each day.

We are trying to raise $6,000.00 to cover bills, treatments, caregiving costs, etc. Any amount, no matter how small, truly helps. If you can’t donate, sharing this page would mean the world to us.
