Hi, I’m Courtney Vargas and this is my sister, Kim Hickey. A 40 year old moderately healthy mom of 3, married to the love of her life, works remotely from home. You would think life would be simple and amazing but in the blink of an eye, it can all change. Last Tuesday November 25th, Kim suffered a mild stroke that caused weakness on her left side. The cause is still yet to be known as she has to follow up with a specialist. She does require physical therapy 2-3 times a week. Her primary doctor says going back to work is not in the best interest right now as it could cause another stroke. Medical bills and other expenses are going to pile up and of course with the holidays approaching with her three children, anything helps her and her family during this difficult time.
