With profound sadness, I am updating this GoFundMe to serve as a way to donate towards Kim's funeral expenses.

My Sister-in-law, Kim Doyle, was recently diagnosed with gastrointestinal adenocarcinoma, a life-changing diagnosis that came after months of unanswered questions and severe hip pain. What began as persistent pain led to countless tests and, ultimately, two biopsies that confirmed cancer.

Kim has already shown incredible strength. She has completed 10 radiation treatments and is now preparing to begin six months of chemotherapy. While the road ahead is long and challenging, she continues to face it with faith and determination.

Kim is married to Gary Doyle, who is the family’s sole provider. Together, they are raising their two sons, Gary Jr. and Dusty, who both still live at home and attend Screven County High School. The Doyles are also active members of Bay Branch Baptist Church, where their faith has been a constant source of strength.

Cancer is heartbreakingly familiar to this family. Their youngest son, Dusty, bravely battled childhood cancer, Langerhans cell histiocytosis, enduring chemotherapy and ongoing health challenges that have followed him since his diagnosis. Having already walked this difficult road once as parents, facing cancer again has been overwhelming.

While neither Kim nor Gary would ever ask for help, especially during this time of year, the reality is that medical bills are mounting, and everyday expenses continue despite treatments, appointments, and missed time.

This fundraiser is a way for friends, family, and the community to come alongside the Doyle family, whether through prayer, sharing, or financial support. Every donation, no matter the size, helps ease the burden and allows them to focus on what matters most: healing, family, and faith.
