At the end of 2023 Kim (our daughter, Deanna's mom and Kristen's sister) was diagnosed with an aggressive cancer. Following that diagnosis she had surgery, then started a strong chemotherapy regimen, had a month of radiation treatments and only now is completing a less physically draining form of chemotherapy treatment.

Kim still has a long road ahead, has many ups and downs but stays strong in her battle. Although she has medical coverage, with its many copayments and coinsurance requirements, her costs for her treatments and her prescriptions are extremely high.
