Help Kim Heal After a Severe Brain Injury

Hello, I am reaching out with a hopeful but heavy heart. On January 21, 2025, my wife, Kim Crum (38), suffered a severe hemorrhagic stroke (brain bleed) that nearly took her life. A devoted mother to our two young daughters (9 and 4), she has fought through weeks of ICU care, emergency surgery, and intensive neurorehabilitation. Kim has made incredible progress, but her recovery is far from over.

Now in outpatient therapy, she requires advanced neurological treatments that insurance won’t cover, along with regular physical and occupational therapy. I am legally blind and unable to drive, making transportation and daily care a financial challenge, as treatment is not accessible near our home and my work. We have been lucky enough to be able to stay with her mother in the Bay Area but this has not prevented regular and medical expenses piling up and with our currently limited income, we urgently need support to continue Kim’s recovery.

We are raising funds to cover essential rehabilitation, specialized treatments, and basic living expenses during this critical time. Every donation, no matter how small, helps Kim move closer to regaining her independence.
