Kim Cake has touched so many lives across so many communities. Whether it was selling you a good book or hosting your child’s birthday party at the Enchanted Passage bookstore in Massachusetts, teaching your kids at Sunday school, or maybe she was your child’s teacher in Arizona. So many of us have been lucky enough to have Kim and her amazing daughter Kristiana in our lives.

Kim is by far one of the strongest women there is. She is a fierce advocate for her daughter through all of her medical ups and downs and now Kim faces her own medical battle.

Kim was recently diagnosed with stage 2 breast cancer. Soon she will begin her treatment to kick this cancer’s butt! With surgery scheduled and follow up treatment after that, Kim will be unable to work as she recovers. She is the primary caregiver to her wonderful daughter and, as we all know, medical bills on top of other finances can add up quickly.
