In early 2021, our father underwent a comprehensive evaluation by a neuropsychological specialist, who determined that he was not mentally incapacitated. This evaluation is of utmost importance and provides clarity on our father's mental state. Regarding the Power of Attorney (POA), it was established for valid reasons in early 2021. The POA did not become active until medical professionals deemed our father incapacitated, and all decisions made prior to that were his own. Stephanie also addressed the issue of financial matters, detailing loans that needed to be paid off and fraudulent use of credit cards. The expenses involved in our father's care are substantial, and it is crucial to understand the financial complexities involved. I want to assure everyone that transparency regarding the estate will be provided following the service, and any questions or concerns can be addressed at that time.
