Support Kim and Joe's Journey back from Helene's Devastation

Hurricane Helene certainly hit the West Coast of Florida in a big way and especially in Siesta Key. Kim Brazinsky Denais and her husband Joe bought their dream home in a dream location many years ago. They have weathered several hurricanes, but nothing prepared them for the storm surge and complete devastation of their home this week. They are staying with friends at the moment, but even that house has no electric. Kim and I grew up in Garwood, NJ and go back to Kindegarten together. We both live in Sarasota now. Today, I was able to get "on the Key" and witnessed a scene worse than I could have imagined. EVERYTHING in the house has to be trashed. Already you can smell mold brewing and it's unhealthy. I'm appealing to anyone who can contribute any amount to help them start over, especially to those in Garwood and Kenilworth, NJ, with whom we grew up. Monies are needed for trash disposal, replacement or repair of Joe's truck, household repairs and purchase of household items, clothing and appliances. It takes a village and Kim and Joe can use the help of a village right now.
