Support Killiam's Healing Journey After Loss

Hi, my name is Killiam. I never thought I’d be in a position to ask for help like this, but the truth is I’m struggling to survive right now after a traumatic medical emergency that changed everything.

A few weeks ago, I experienced an ectopic pregnancy that nearly took my life. I was in unimaginable pain and had to undergo emergency surgery to remove my right fallopian tube. One day I was holding onto the dream of becoming a mother, and the next, I was being told that dream had almost killed me.

Recovery has been slow and brutal physically, emotionally, and financially. My job is commission-based, and I’ve worked in that field for over five years. There’s no paid medical leave. If you’re not there, you don’t earn. And jobs like mine aren’t built for people who get sick… especially not for people healing from surgery and grieving a loss like this.

Before this, I took a chance on a new opportunity, trying to build something better for myself and I was completely finessed. Misled into a situation that drained what little I had left. So now I’m left with $130 to my name and two weeks to survive until my next possible paycheck, which will not include commissions because from time

off I have to re-build a book of business. I’ve tried everything, I’ve asked family, I’ve stretched every dollar, and I’ve even turned to streaming online to try to build something sustainable from home. But success there doesn’t come overnight, and right now, I don’t have the time, energy, or physical strength to grind that hard.

I don’t feel like I’ve been the best friend lately, so asking friends for help has been hard. But I’m asking now, with open hands and a heavy heart. I’m not lazy. I’m not careless. I’m just someone who nearly died chasing a dream, and I need help getting back on my feet.
