Help me raise money for the Kildare Animal Foundation Wildlife Unit in Kildare, Ireland. Volunteers work around the clock to rescue sick, injured and orphaned wildlife, to rehabilitate them so they can be released back to the wild.
The amount of help needed can be overwhelming due to the high amounts of wildlife casualties from all over Ireland that are handed in by members of the public or referrals from Veterinary Clinics, Rescues and other organisations.
I hope to raise enough money to help support the volunteers who so graciously give their time, and money to buy and source supplies such as food, blankets, and medical supplies.
Over the month I will be challenging myself, and friends across Facebook and Instagram to complete different fitness challenges each day to raise awareness for donations to Kildare Wildlife Rescue Unit.
Kildare Animal Foundation Wildlife Unit is purely operated by the selfless efforts of volunteer Veterinarian’s, and members of the community. One particular volunteer who inspired to me to start this campaign, is Lisa McAuley.
She has been like a Mother to me since I was a teenager growing up in Dublin, which at times was a real struggle. She is the strongest, kindest and most generous person I know.
It’s my goal to raise awareness and much needed funds to help out, so she and so many others are able to continue to help care for injured wildlife.
