Hi everyone,
I never thought I’d be in this position, but I truly need help. A couple months ago I started a new job in water restoration sales. What I didn't realize at the time was how much l'd be exposed to mold and microbes every day. Little by little, my respiratory health started to decline. I went to a specialist hoping for relief, but the procedure didn't go the way it should have. It was one of the most painful experiences I've ever had, and instead of getting better, my breathing got worse. Eventually it got so bad I ended up in the Emergency Room. That's where I found out my lung had been punctured and it actually collapsed during the procedure. It's been a scary and humbling experience, but I'm staying strong and pushing forward.
Thankfully, I’ve found a new job that will be a much better fit for me long-term. The challenge is that I don’t start my new job till mid-September and I don’t receive my first paycheck until October 15th, and I need support to bridge the gap so I can step away from my current job and focus on recovery.
The funds will go toward:
Medical bills from my lung injury
Rent and essential bills
Medicine and treatment for my ongoing health issues
Support with mold remediation to make my living environment safe
Anything you can give—no matter the amount—will help me breathe easier (literally and figuratively) as I heal and rebuild. Even if you can’t donate, sharing this page means the world to me.
Thank you for taking the time to read my story and for supporting me during this difficult time.
With gratitude,
Enrique
