Help Kiki Heal While She Holds Everyone Together

In just a couple of heartbreaking weeks, our beloved Kiki experienced the unimaginable, becoming a grandmother for the first time, only to lose her granddaughter just 7 days after she was born. Unable to afford a full service, Kiki stood in her grief and officiated the ceremony herself, laying her baby girl to rest with strength and love no one should have to summon.
Now, while trying to console her grieving daughter through this devastating loss, Kiki also had to place her father into hospice care. He was battling a rare form of cancer, and treatments were no longer working. Sadly, he transitioned just days ago. .
Kiki is the soul of her family, while also raising her young son, she was helping care for her father and grandmother alongside other family members. She supported her daughter through pregnancy, childbirth, and now through this unthinkable grief and now, the devastating loss of her father. All of this, while carrying the weight of her own grief, anxiety, and depression.
And still, she gives. Kiki continues to work with youth in her community, helping them access education and life-changing resources, pouring into others even when her own heart is breaking.
Now, Kiki needs us.
She needs her community to surround her with the same care and love she’s given so selflessly to others. She needs help with funeral expenses, enabling her to honor her father’s life and legacy as he deserves. She will also need to take time to grieve and care for her family without carrying the financial burden alone.
