Support Kiersta's Family After Hurricane Milton
Donation protected
My daughter Kiersta Castagno-Williams, her husband Jonathan and their daughters Anslynn and Renlee need your help...
As Hurricane Milton, a CAT2 storm, rolled through Lakeland/Polk County early Thursday morning, Kiersta and her family were huddled in their home praying for safety. Unfortunately, a huge oak tree in their yard succumbed to the winds and rain and crashed into the house, penetrating the roof and opening them to the storm. That she and her family, including two of my granddaughters, were not hit and seriously injured is simply divine intervention. We were able to rescue them in the midst of the storm and get them to safety.
They are facing serious hardships as their home is unlivable. Insurance will help, but there are a myriad of uncovered costs and deductibles, never mind the trauma of lost things and being displaced.
Kiersta and Jon are dedicated to helping people. She is a teacher taking care of sick children that are hospital or homebound, traveling to each one to teach them at their point of need. Jon is a behavioral therapist working with children that have all sorts of challenges. They are doing the hard work for their communities. I am asking that we do the hard work to help them.
Give what you can; any amount is appreciated and will help them.
