Hi, I’m Kierra. I have a 7-year-old daughter and take care of my mom. On Monday, August 18, 2025, our home in Detroit caught on fire. The fire started in the basement, and firefighters explained that due to safety hazards, it is not safe for us to live in our home full of toxins and debris. It needs to be rehabbed before we can move back in for our safety.

I am a single mother and need help for temporary living assistance and rehabbing our home to make it safe again for us. Demo is needed, smoke damage needs to be removed, windows need replacement, and 2 doorways (wood/framing) need repair. We also need a cleanout, etc. Anything would help, please. My daughter also starts school on August 25, 2025.
