Support Kien's Soccer Dream in Manchester UK

Hi, I’m Kien. If you landed on this page, then you're someone who’s important in my life, or someone who’s important to YOU, really loves me and asked you to visit.

If you know anything about me, then you know I'm super passionate about soccer. I've been playing soccer since I was just two years old. I currently play for a few teams including my select team called TA ELITE as well as my local competitive club team JFC. I'm also currently part of the New Jersey Olympic Development Program, so my developmental schedule is quite busy as you can see. My hope is to one day be a professional soccer player.

This December, I have a really exciting opportunity to travel to Manchester, England with my TA ELITE team to take part in a highly competitive developmental program that is being run by the coaches of the Manchester City and Manchester United premier league teams. As part of this program, I’ll be trained by these top professional coaches and will have the opportunity to play against youth teams from English soccer academy clubs such as Manchester City and Manchester United and Everton.

I know that this is going to be an amazing experience that's going to help me further develop my soccer skills and propel me forward on my path. I also know that this will NOT be a vacation – I’m going to train twice a day for 10 days, as well as play matches against other teams while I’m there.

I'm asking for the support of friends and family to help me and my team fund this amazing developmental journey. Your support will help me alleviate some of the logistical costs including uniforms, training fees, accommodations, meals, and travel expenses. Part of the funds will also go towards a great organization called "Soccer Without Borders" (https://www.soccerwithoutborders.org/) which helps build fields, developmental and educational programs for less fortunate kids around the world.
