Support Kids With Cancer in Honor of Sammy's Memory

My cousin Sammy and I were as close as siblings growing up. My whole life changed when he passed away from a rare pediatric cancer when I was just 10 years old. Sammy was the sweetest, gentlest, most compassionate kid, and he fought tenaciously throughout his battle with cancer.

Having watched my cousin fight the fight of his life, I can personally tell you that I remember how special it was for him to receive little gifts, cards, toys, and donations. It made unbearable days in the hospital bearable.

For my Basha Gives Back project, I am going to raise $1,000 and collect toys to present to Phoenix Children’s Hospital on December 15th. My cousin Sammy was the kindest kid I've ever known. Together we can be kind and bring joy to kids who need our support.
