Help Ukrainian Children Heal — Support Kids of Ukraine

War takes more than homes and safety — it steals childhood. Thousands of Ukrainian children have faced bombings, displacement, and loss. Even when the danger passes, the trauma remains.

This year, the Ukrainian Festival in Lanark County is raising funds for Kids of Ukraine, a nonprofit dedicated to restoring the mental and emotional well-being of children affected by war.

Kids of Ukraine works to:

Evacuate children from conflict zones to safe, supportive environments.

Provide ongoing psychological counseling and trauma-informed care.

Support families with tools to help their children recover emotionally.

Offer creative therapies, play-based programs, and community activities that rebuild trust, resilience, and hope.

Since the start of the war, Kids of Ukraine has supported thousands of children — both those who have been evacuated abroad and those who remain in Ukraine, including in occupied areas.

Your donation will give a child more than safety — it will give them the chance to laugh, play, and believe in a peaceful future again.

Our Goal: 5000 CAD — every dollar goes directly to programs that help children heal from trauma.
