Many families work incredibly hard but still struggle to afford basic school supplies. For too many children, the school year begins without a backpack, notebooks, pencils, or even the essentials required to participate fully in class.

This GoFundMe is to support a Back-to-School Book Bag Giveaway for the children in Free School, Port Antonio, Jamaica.

Our goal is simple but powerful: to provide fully stocked book bags to students who need them most, so they can walk into school feeling prepared, proud, and motivated to learn.

Every $25 provides one child with a fully stocked backpack.

Each backpack will include age-appropriate supplies such as:

• Notebooks and writing pads

• Pencils, pens, crayons, and erasers

• Basic learning materials teachers expect students to have

• A sturdy book bag that can last the school year

For many families, these items are a financial stretch. For the children, receiving a backpack is more than supplies — it’s a reminder that someone cares about their education and their future.

All funds raised will go directly toward purchasing school supplies and book bags and distributing them locally in Port Antonio before the school year begins. If you’re unable to donate, sharing this campaign is just as meaningful. Your support — whether financial or through spreading the word — helps remove barriers to education and gives children a stronger start. Thank you for helping us put books in bags, hope in hearts, and confidence in classrooms.

With gratitude,

Jodi and Angela
