Hi everyone,
I’m reaching out with a heartfelt request.
During my time in Kenya, I met Erick, the inspiring founder of KCOOP (Kibera Community Outreach Project) in Kibera, Nairobi. While he was an incredible guide, it was his dedication to the children in his community that truly moved me. I saw firsthand the meaningful impact KCOOP is making every day.
KCOOP is a registered nonprofit working in the Kibera slums, where over 100,000 children face extreme poverty, limited access to education, food insecurity, and serious health and social challenges. What these children need is simple but life-changing: school supplies, uniforms, nutritious food, and safe spaces to learn and grow.
In September 2024, KCOOP opened a Children’s Center, a safe after-school space where volunteer teachers provide homework help, enriching activities, and a nutritious daily meal. The goal is to continue expanding these programs to reach even more children and families.
I’m asking for your support because every contribution matters. We’ve created a GoFundMe where 100% of the proceeds go directly to Erick to support KCOOP’s work and the children it serves.
Thank you so much for reading, sharing, and supporting in any way you can. Your generosity truly has the power to change lives.
