Kiba has been my everything. He’s been with me since he was just 8 weeks old, and we’ve been through so much together. He’s been by my side through my trauma, my happiest moments, and every challenge life has thrown my way.
Most of you already know Kiba, but for those who don’t, he’s truly an amazing dog. He’s the gentlest, sweetest, silliest, and most loving boy you could ever meet.
A few months ago, Kiba started limping badly and could barely walk. I took him to the vet, where X-rays revealed that he had torn his ACL and that the bone in his knee was shifting. The vet told us he would need surgery to repair it; otherwise, he could spend the rest of his life in pain. Kiba is getting older, and it breaks my heart to think of him living with that kind of discomfort.
To make things even harder, he had already been attacked by another dog just a few months before this injury happened.
Kiba was my service dog, and he was incredible at his job. He has helped me through some of the hardest moments of my life, and this is my chance to give back to him and help him when he needs it most.
The surgery is expected to cost around $3,000. I’ve been working hard and saving as much as I can, but I still need a little help reaching the goal. If you’re able to donate or even share this post, it would mean the world to both of us.
Thank you for taking the time to read Kiba’s story and for any support you can give.
