Support Kiarra Jackson's Cancer Survivorship

Donation protected
My Name is Kiarra Jackson currently residing in Maplewood NJ. I was diagnosed with stage 3 metaplastic triple negative breast cancer at the age of 38. I am a cancer survivor and thriver, actively involved in multiple breast cancer support groups. Additionally, I serve as a model for the American Breast Care company and a partner with CKKB medical wigs company. My current focus is on reclaiming my life—working to live rather than living to work.

I created this donation page to help cover transportation, holistic expenses, and travel opportunities to cancer related conferences and retreats. I am also venturing off to create skin and hair oils, natural juices, and herbal tea blends.

My Testimony
During the early stages of my journey, I was hospitalized twice for a bad cough, stress, and fatigue, but did not think it would be stage 2 breast cancer until April 2023, that’s when I began to have chest and breast pain. In June 2023, Knowing the risk of chemo on the body, I sought out multiple surgical opinions and committed fully to a holistic path. For nearly 10 months, I poured my energy into developing bitter herbal tea blends to cleanse my blood and support my liver, kidneys, and lymphatic system. I fasted regularly, alkalized my body, eliminated sugar to starve the cancer, and most importantly, built a deeper relationship with God. My bloodwork showed positive changes, but the tumor persisted—growing as large as a grapefruit, measuring 15 cm. Miraculously, it had not spread, but the urgency intensified when my diagnosis changed to stage 3 Metaplastic Triple-Negative Breast Cancer—a rare, aggressive, fast growing, and chemo-resistant form of cancer with a high likelihood of metastasis. Less than 1% of breast cancer patients receive this diagnosis.

In March 2024, I started chemotherapy, undergoing 10 rounds of CarboTaxol and Abraxane treatments. Unforeseen circumstances occurred in April 2024 forcing me to pause treatment, and when I resumed in May 2025, my body struggled to handle the side effects. I became severely anemic, experienced premenopausal symptoms, and suffered from debilitating bone pain and inflammation. Feeling sick and weak most of the time, I ultimately decided to stop treatment on July 2, 2024.

Then, my world shifted again. After 12 years as a social worker, my employer terminated me on June 30, 2024. I lost my job, health insurance, and life insurance all at once. To stay covered, I paid $1,000/month for COBRA until Medicaid and SSDI took effect in September 2024.

In August 2024, I was finally approved for a mastectomy and reconstruction surgery. However, my recovery was slowed by extreme fluid retention and joint pain, making it hard to walk without a cane. Doctors drained fluid from my knee, and I feared the cancer had spread. But by the grace of God, my scans and bloodwork confirmed it hadn’t although inflammation levels were high.

After months of physical therapy, I completed 30 rounds of radiation, finishing on December 26, 2024. My chemo port was removed in March 2025, a moment of quiet triumph. However, In April, I began having breast pain again, and discovered that my tissue expander had flipped and ruptured. I’m now preparing for another breast surgery on June 14, 2025.

I am now realizing I will never be the same again. As I walk forward in faith toward full survivorship, this is MY time to reclaim my life with purpose.

Current Challenges & Needs
At this moment, I am surviving on SSDI disability benefits and Medicaid to cover medical and household expenses. However, I do not have a car, which makes transportation difficult to attend my daughter’s school and social events, medical appointments, and cancer related events. I would love to save up for a car one day, but that will take time.

I’m also raising funds for supplies and production to began sharing the healing herbs and wisdom that supported me on my journey. Your donations and support helps me continue this work by formulating healing blends, offering holistic wellness education and resources, and pouring into others walking through chronic illness, cancer, or life’s storms.

Through all of this, I believe my journey has a purpose, and I remain committed to sharing my testimony as a walking miracle to inspire other women to not give up when life gets tough.
