Kiara’s journey has been filled with both heartbreak and hope. After losing her mom, Magaly, in November, she faced one of the toughest moments of her life. Despite this, Kiara has shown incredible resilience and determination—she was just accepted into medical school in Utah, starting this June. While her tuition is covered by an educational loan, the costs of living—rent, utilities, and a meal plan—are a significant challenge. Over the next four years, these expenses will add up, and Kiara won’t be able to work while focusing on her demanding studies.

Magaly’s dream was always for Kiara to go to medical school. Now, with her younger brother on the autism spectrum, Kiara will likely need to support him after graduation as well. Our family’s priority is to make sure Kiara can dedicate herself fully to her education, without the added stress of covering basic living expenses.
