In Loving Memory of Grandma Kay: A Community Coming Together

Dear Friends,

It is with heavy hearts that we share the loss of our beloved Kiana's grandmother, Karolyn, or as many of us knew her—Grandma Kay. If you were lucky enough to know Grandma Kay, you’ll remember her as a kind, sweet, and caring soul who always put others first. She was the definition of love and generosity, a constant giver who helped everyone and anyone with a smile on her face.

As Kiana and her cousin Shea carry out her grandmother's final wishes, we want to come together as a community to offer our love and support during this difficult time. Kiana lives in Washington D.C. and has been flying back and forth to Clovis, New Mexico, to handle her grandmother's arrangements. In order to be there for her family, Kiana has had to reschedule her clients and manage various financial challenges. This has been an emotional and exhausting time, and we know how much she appreciates the love and support from her community.

Grandma Kay wanted to be cremated, and the cost of this service came to $3,400. As we all know, life doesn’t come with a manual, and in moments like this, it’s important to rally around those we care about.

Kiana and her cousin Shea have been working tirelessly to make the necessary arrangements, and now we have the opportunity to ease some of the financial burden. Together, we can help Kiana’s family honor Grandma Kay in the way she always deserved—with love, grace, and kindness.
