Support Kiana After the Accident

Donation protected
My name is Nick Paradis, in the early morning of 6/23/2026 on our two year anniversary at approximately 2:30am my girlfriend Kiana Costa, and our roommate Margo Keane got into a horrible car accident, in Ohio on their way to Electric Forest.

They are both alive and in the hospital, but with very severe injuries from the accident.

Margo suffered a broken knee and shoulder, plus other major injuries to her leg, Kiana has a broken leg, hip, and part of her back and other things still being discovered.

Looking at the vehicle after the fact, it is amazing they are both alive.

Their car was so horribly crushed and warped that both of their doors had to be cut off the cars altogether.

Kiana and Margo both are two of the most generous people I’ve ever met and have constantly put out positive energy and given themselves fully to the communities they have been a part of.

I met both Kiana and Margo two years ago in Ponce De Leon, Florida at a music festival called Sol Fest. Kiana insisted on taking a picture with every single person that we came with and giving everyone their own special personal kandi bracelet or necklace she had made for them. I still remember her giving me my necklace with an adorable mushroom squishmallow on it.

Kiana happened to live in Rhode Island and I lived in Massachusetts at that time and from that first meeting she has been the most important thing in my life. We were so lucky to have found each other how we did and I am so glad she is alive.

Margo has health insurance currently and insists she will be fine financially, but Kiana sadly does not have insurance and so the cost of her multiple surgeries, physical therapy, and various other unforeseen expenses will add up rapidly.

If there is any support that anyone is capable of providing we need it now more than we ever could have before. I am eternally grateful for anyone who is able to make a donation or share this post.

Kiana would spend most days making hundreds of trinkets to give out to people and spread joy and kindness at music festivals and concerts wherever we go.

Kandi bracelets and cute clips with positive or funny messages and through all the arts and crafts and silliness her kindness is the greatest part of my days.

If you are part of the kandi exchange she does you may have even received a package from her. If you’ve ever been to the same festival as us she might have sprouted you without you even knowing.

I searched on google how expensive it is to go through these procedures she needs out of pocket and the estimate I got from google was between 100,000-200,000$ which of course will be slightly alleviated by whatever financial aid is available to us, and whatever is worked out through car insurance but it will likely still be tens of thousands of dollars out of pocket after all is said and done to accommodate what she will need in her recovery.

Every small contribution is greatly appreciated and will add up to take some of this weight off of us moving forward.

Please help me get her better and bring her home, thank you.
