Help Baby Kiahaura Fight Leukemia
Our daughter, Kiahaura Mateo Salley, was born on January 12, 2025, with a serious congenital heart disease. At just six months old, she underwent open-heart surgery to repair a ventricular septal defect (VSD) and atrial septal defect (ASD). Despite complications and multiple hospitalizations, Kiahaura showed incredible strength and fought her way through recovery.
On August 22, 2025, our world changed again when Kiahaura was diagnosed with leukemia. She immediately began chemotherapy and remains hospitalized, requiring intensive care, ongoing treatments, and close heart monitoring.
Kiahaura’s journey has been filled with courage, but the costs of her life-saving treatments, medications, travel, and daily living expenses have placed a tremendous burden on our family. We are reaching out for help so we can focus fully on Kiahaura’s healing without the fear of financial hardship.
