My name is Erice Williams, and I am the parent of Khimari Manns. Recently, my son was involved in a mass shooting on December 13, at Brown university . While I am grateful that Khimari survived, the experience has been deeply traumatic and life-changing. During this tragedy, his roommate was killed, which has added an unimaginable layer of shock, grief, and emotional pain.

Since that day, Khimari has been navigating the emotional impact of this trauma while trying to find a sense of safety and normalcy again. As a parent, my focus is on being present for him and ensuring he has the support, care, and stability he needs to heal. This fundraiser is to help cover expenses related to counseling, emotional support, transportation, and time I may need to take away from work to be there for my son during this recovery process.
