Our dear friend Khari Lizotte is navigating an unimaginable loss— the tragic and unexpected passing of her partner, best friend, and father of her three beautiful children, Briar (11), Soren (6), and Bristol (4).

If you know Khari, you know she is one of the most hardworking, selfless, and loving mothers, who lives for her children. She holds 3 jobs to keep her family afloat and gives everything she has to ensure her kids always have what they need, on top of always providing a safe, loving, enriching, nurturing and secure environment . She has limited outside family support, financial and otherwise, truly doing it all on her own, with so much grace and love, always.

Now, she’s facing the impossible task of holding her family together while grieving this heartbreaking loss, and community support is essential.

We are starting this GoFundMe to help lift some of the financial and emotional weight off her shoulders — so she can have space to heal and be with her children.

Funds will go toward:

• Rent and utilities to keep a stable home.

• A reliable vehicle, since her current car needs major repairs she can’t afford.

• Therapy and mental health support for Khari and her children as they process this trauma.

• Time off work as needed to grieve and give extra care to her kids as they go through this difficult journey.

• Out-of-pocket expenses and household help to make daily life a little easier, as she has limited outside help to ease the burden.

Khari has spent her life showing up for others, both in her professional life and her personal life , and now it’s our turn to show up for her, and shower her with the support she needs and deserves.
