Support Khampaeng's Medical Journey

Hi friends and fam,

Our friend, chef, creator of many of our favorite local restaurants, and beloved community member Khampaeng is experiencing an unforeseen medical emergency and needs our support!

In 2019, Khampaeng opened up Taurus Ox alongside his wife Jenessa. Since then they've won awards, opened up 2 additional restaurants including Ox Burger and Anana's Pizzeria, and helped many friends and partners open up their own restaurants. Through this time they've also brought two young boys into this world - Alton 3.5 years ago and Balamy just this past May, one day before Khampaeng's own birthday. Things haven't always been smooth. Khampaeng has worked long, relentless hours bringing us amazing food and experiences. He started experiencing brain fog in 2020 and has since tried many things to improve his health including becoming sober for the last 2 years. Recently, his doctors discovered a tumor in the frontal lobe of his brain. They don't know what the grade of tumor it is but they are proceeding with a craniotomy and hopeful removal.

Khampaeng needs our support in not only paying for this procedure but the likely long road to recovery ahead. His main concern is providing for his family post-surgery and being able to continue supporting his staff and friends - especially considering the inevitable additional labor that they will all have provide in his absence.
