Our family is heartbroken by the tragic loss of our beloved Kha'Mari “Mari” Harrison, a beautiful and kind 16-year-old daughter, granddaughter, sister, niece, cousin, aunt, and friend whose life was taken far too soon by gun violence. No family is ever prepared for a loss this sudden, painful, or devastating. We are now carrying unimaginable grief while trying to honor Kha'Mari ’s life with the care, dignity, and tenderness she deserves.

Kha'Mari was deeply loved by her family and all who knew her, and she will forever be cherished by those blessed to know and love her. At only 16 years old, she had so much life ahead of her, so many dreams to pursue, and so much love left to give. Her passing has left a pain that words cannot fully express, as we grieve not only the loss of her presence but also the beautiful life that was still unfolding before us, full of promise, joy, and love.

As our family prepares to honor Kha'Mari and lay her to rest, the support received will help with her final arrangement expenses and ease some of the immediate burdens that come with such a sudden and heartbreaking loss. Your kindness allows our family space to grieve, gather, and hold close the memories Kha'Mari shared with us.
