Dear friends, family, and kind supporters,

I am reaching out on behalf of my cousin, Kallia, who is facing one of the most challenging seasons of her life. Her son, Aiden, has been bravely undergoing treatment for childhood cancer, and as you can imagine, this journey has been both emotionally and financially overwhelming.

For over 20 years, Khallia faithfully served her community as an employee of Washington Hospital Center. At the time of Aiden’s diagnosis, however, she was unable to return to work in order to dedicate herself fully to caring for her son. Sadly, this has left her without steady employment or income during a time when the bills continue to pile up.

While the past year has taken an immense emotional toll, it has also brought heavy financial strain. Household expenses and medical bills are mounting, and with very little financial revenue coming in, Khallia is in urgent need of support to keep her household stable and to ensure she can continue to focus on Aiden’s care and well-being.
