This Go Fund Me is for the daughter of a wonderful mother and friend of mine. Roughly 2 weeks ago Khalia went to the ER with abdominal pain and ended up needing emergency surgery to have one ovary and fallopian tube removed due to torsion (twisting) from a mass on her ovary. They did not anticipate any further issues until October 31st when her mom received a call with the pathology report. This confirmed Dysgerminoma which is a type of tumor. They have met with an oncology team and will most likely be starting chemo treatments at the end of this month. Khalia is a 17-year-old girl who is an all-star volleyball player and 4.0 student.
