Hello, friends,
I am the school nurse for two incredible brothers, Nadeem and Khaleel, who have touched the hearts of everyone they've met. I am reaching out to you today with a heavy heart to share their heartbreaking story and ask for your support during this unimaginably difficult time.
On the night of 11/22/2023, tragedy struck the Maqsood family when a devastating house fire broke out. Nadeem and Khaleel, both bright and resilient young boys with autism, were inside the home. Despite the valiant efforts of first responders, Nadeem tragically lost his life in the fire. His departure has left a void in the hearts of his family, friends, and the entire school community.
Khaleel, on the other hand, is currently fighting for his life in the hospital, having sustained severe third-degree burns. His road to recovery will be long and arduous, with extensive medical treatments, surgeries, and rehabilitation ahead. The physical and emotional toll on Khaleel and his family is immeasurable.
In the midst of this heartbreaking loss and ongoing struggle, we are reaching out to our school community for support. The Maqsood family is facing not only the emotional devastation of losing one son but also the overwhelming financial burden associated with Khaleel's medical care and the rebuilding of their lives.
This GoFundMe campaign has been initiated in the hopes that we can come together as a community to alleviate some of the financial stress on the Maqsood family. Your generous donations will go towards medical expenses, counseling services, and the necessary resources to help the family rebuild their lives after losing their home.
Nadeem and Khaleel were beloved members of our school community. Nadeem's memory will forever be cherished, and we are rallying around Khaleel as he fights for his recovery. Every contribution, no matter how small, will make a meaningful impact on this grieving family's journey towards healing.
Let us stand together in solidarity and show the Maqsood family that they are not alone. Your kindness and generosity will help them navigate the difficult days ahead and provide a glimmer of hope during this dark time.
Thank you for opening your hearts and wallets to support the Maqsood family. Please share this campaign with your friends, family, and colleagues, and let's make a difference in Khaleel's journey towards recovery.
With gratitude,
