Greetings my Donners, How are you ? My name is Khadijah Ahmad 5 years old, I am telling you my story little bit, When I got born my doctor diagnosed I got Major Beta Thalassemia and after also I got Hemolytic Anemia, My first birthday in the hospital that's 2nd time I got hospitalized in one year.

In my five years of life. Its COVID19 time. I can't count how many times I got hospitalized and went to Emergency Department and my outpatient appointments countless( Hematology, Gastrology, Nephrology, Orthopedic, teeth surgery, Endocrinology, Blood Transfusion, optomology, ENT, Speech therapy, Nutrition....), Sometimes I got 3 or 4 appointments in a week and at weekend go to ER Department, With my weakness and using high steroid medicine( steroid also weaken to the bones) I got fall and broke my arm and doctor put cast on my arm and I got fall again that time my arm broke 4 different areas ,

My respectful Donners me and my siblings and my parents pass very pain full time with me, I was born in Austin, TX area live there very painfully, I was 2 yeas old when doctor referred to me for Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT), I did visit to Houston, TX in Texas children's hospital Houston early 2023, got appointment with Dr. George. After some complications and communication gap with doctor George .

My respectful Donners Eventually we contacted with doctor George again 2024 in summer and 2025 February , Doctor scheduled BMT in May 2025 , My whole family moved out from Austin, TX to Houston, TX for me in mid April 2025. When doctor got checked me pre tests for BMT , my liver got over loaded with iron then doctor started other medicine to remove iron from my liver and after that I got hospitalized, My blood count went down 4.6 , it's happened few times before went to that level, Houston Hematology Doctor very experienced and great knowledge able Doctor started storied me again but that time storied side-effects, I got stop walking, 2025 summer I am not able to walk, after that I start getting pool and physical therapy for start walking again , long story short BMT department schedule for me BMT 03/03/2026 NEW UP DATE ( Her bone marrow treatment got delayed for 6 weeks, She got yesterday Hematology appointment 02/24/2026 her blood count dropped 5.1 and lost week was 5.9, Doctor wants to know before BMT why blood drops so quickly with blood transfusion in week what's antibodies doing they star giving her medicine and get results] and stay in hospital one and half month and I for got to tell you about my Bone Marrow Donner, My elder sister she is 9 donate Bone Marrow to me.

During my BMT one my parent stay with me in the hospital other parent stay at home with my siblings, My father can't work for our livings, it's not during treatment after treatment also, Initially first depend on the situation how many weeks, I got 3 appointments in a week and gradually come 2 appointments in week so on.
