Support for Keyri Alverado and Her Family in Their Time of Loss
Dear friends, family, and community,
We are reaching out on behalf of the Richmond South Marine Corps Recruiting Station to support one of our own—Keyri Alverado, a dedicated and inspiring young woman currently in our Delayed Entry Program (DEP), preparing to serve her country as a United States Marine.
Tragically, Keyri's brother passed away unexpectedly on the night of May 15th. This heartbreaking loss has deeply affected her and her family.
Keyri is the pillar of strength for her entire household. At just 18 years old, she is balancing a demanding schedule of work, school, and her journey toward becoming a Marine. Despite the many challenges she faces, Keyri has always been driven by a deep desire to give back. Her decision to enlist stems from the gratitude she feels toward her community and her passion for making a difference.
Now, in the wake of this personal tragedy, the weight on her shoulders is heavier than ever. Funeral costs and the emotional toll of leading her family through this unimaginable time have created an urgent need for support.
This is where we come in.
We are asking for your help to ease the financial burden on Keyri and her family. Every donation—no matter how small—will go toward funeral expenses and helping Keyri stay on track with her goals and responsibilities during this difficult time.
Keyri has always put others first. Let’s rally around her now and show her the strength of the community she’s preparing to serve.
From all of us at the Richmond South Marine Corps Recruiting Station, thank you for your compassion, generosity, and support.
Thank You.
