Support Keyo's Fight Against Deportation

I met Michelle and Keyo at a local community meeting last year, and we worked together to dream of a space that we could build together that would support us and our communities. I learned what a fun- loving couple they are, how much they enjoy music and dancing, and how much they care about our community and want to work to make it better.

I learned that Keyo was on track to earning his citizenship, and that he had been regularly attending his routine immigration check-ins. During his last check-in, he was told he would be able to take his citizenship test and needed fingerprints. On December 31, 2025, he arrived for his check-in hopeful he would be cleared to take the citizenship test and never returned home. That day, Keyo was abducted by ICE agents, working under the header of DHS, and has been held at Adelanto ICE facility in Escondido, CA ever since.

Michelle is doing her best to make ends meet while he is being held there, but is struggling to save enough to cover legal fees for Keyo's upcoming court case. To avoid deportation, Keyo desperately needs an attorney for his court appointment on February 20, 2026. Please consider donating to help this family stay together. They have been and continue to be part of what makes Long Beach a beautiful place to live - any support is greatly appreciated.
